At the beginning of the year I introduced at 30 minute ‘first thing in the morning’ workout - after which I stand outside and (often) do voice notes from the POV of one of my characters. From there it’s straight to my desk (with some breakfast) by 7am. I’m still working on novel-adjacent stuff at my desk, but it’s all important stuff and it’s made a world of difference. I’m so much more focused now ❣️
